Beverly Sandock has been an active member of Congregation Or Chadash for over twenty years. In addition to serving on the board of Congregation Or Chadash as a member, an officer and past president, she has remained committed to its mission.
Currently she serves as co-chair of the Special Events committee, is a member of the governance committee and the development committee. She has been a member of Sisterhood for many years. In the past she has co-chaired the Religious School Accreditation process and served in various capacities on many committees. She frequently attends services and celebrations at Or Chadash.
Professionally she works at the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona in planning and marketing, which includes the Jewish Tucson Newsflash, website and concierge, along with Senior Task Force and other projects. Professionally in the past she has worked in the field of Education, particularly with individuals with ADHD and learning disabilities. She held the position of Associate Director of the SALT Center for many years. Her education includes a masters from American University and a Ph.D. from University of Arizona in Higher Education Administration.
