Amir Eden, Teacher

Amir Eden, a native Israeli who currently serves Tucson Hebrew Academy as a Hebrew and Judaic teacher, holds a B.A in Political Science and International Relations from Florida Atlantic University and an M.A in Educational Administration from San Francisco State University. He has taught Hebrew for eleven years, served as a 6th to 12th Hebrew Department Chair for four years, two years as a Middle and High School Principal, and six years as a K-12 Head of Judaic Studies, Hebrew, Jewish Life, and Israel connections. Amir is also a graduate of a RAVSAK (Jewish Day School Network) leadership training program as well as an Experiential program of Brandeis University.

Besides serving as a Jewish Educator, Amir served as the founding Regional Director of the Israeli American council (IAC) in Las Vegas, Founding President of the Israeli Scouts branch in Las Vegas and the Director of our local Israel Center. He is married to Sharon and a proud father of two boys, Gahl and Neev. At his spare time, Amir loves to read, travel and play Soccer.
