In accordance with our Bylaws, there are no nominations from the floor. The slate will be voted on its entirety, one vote per member family. Associate Members do not vote and proxy votes are not allowed. Pursuant to Congregation Or Chadash Bylaws, nominations for Board of Directors will be accepted in the office until 12:00 noon on Friday, May 12. Nominations will be verified for eligibility to serve as outlined in the Bylaws. Those names will be added to the ballot for voting at the Annual Meeting. If there are additional nominees on the ballot, all nominees will be voted individually.

Absentee Ballot: The absentee ballot allows each member family to vote if they cannot attend the meeting in person. The ballot includes the budget, the slate of nominations to the Board of Directors, and the renewal of the Rabbi’s contract. If you are unable to attend the meeting, submit the absentee ballot by either scanning and emailing the ballot to president@octucson.org, faxing to (520) 512-8600, or mailing the ballot to the office. The absentee ballot must be received with your signature no later than Friday, May 12 at 12:00 noon. Click here to download.

Through our long-term commitment to excellence, Congregation Or Chadash will continue our tradition of meeting the ever-changing needs of our congregational family. Please remember this Congregation consists of you, and it is with your continued support that we are able to continue to serve all of our members as well as the Tucson community.

Your attendance is important! We require a quorum of our membership for this meeting. Please join your friends on that Monday night in wishing a hearty Mazel Tov to our new Board members. There will be several special recognition awards presented and presentations by our auxiliaries. Come hear about how your congregation continues to serve you and your community in many positive ways.
