Sarah Bollt has worked at Congregation Or Chadash since October 2014.

Sarah has been a member of Congregation Or Chadash since 1997. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in Special Education, emphasis in Educational Interpreting for the Deaf. She worked as an educational interpreter for 11 years before deciding it was time to take her career in another direction. She still interprets a couple hours a week.

Sarah has always been heavily involved in congregational life at Or Chadash. She served as Chair of the Ritual Committee for two years and still sits on the committee. She chants Torah and Haftarah regularly at Saturday morning services, and often fills in as Cantorial Soloist when Cantor Cohen is away.

Sarah worked for two and a half years as Rabbinic Executive Assistant at Temple Emanu-El before she began her current position at Or Chadash. She currently serves part-time as Cantorial Soloist for the Institute of Judaic Services and Studies at SaddleBrooke, in addition to the work she does at Or Chadash. She is currently pursuing higher education in the field of Jewish Sacred Music, and loves to watch Star Trek: Voyager and The Big Bang Theory in her spare time.
