Eileen Cook has worked at Congregation Or Chadash since January of 2011.

Eileen, a true Tucson native, continues to have a varied career. After attending her home town school (the University of Arizona), she began a career that has included positions at the UofA, Northern Arizona University, the University of Tennessee, and Yavapai Community College.

Although she has lived most of her life here, she spent several years working and living in Prescott, AZ (working in Community Outreach for the Yavapai Health Department) and in Knoxville, TN, where she was the Assistant to the News Director at the local NBC affiliate. Her experience gained while working in property management led to a 5 year position with the Catalina Foothills School District (Facilities Department) before coming to Congregation Or Chadash. If you’ve ever contacted or visited the Or Chadash office, then you know how busy she stays trying to keep up with the needs of the Congregation.

She loves UofA sports, and you will find her at all the home football games and cheering on the basketball team from her couch with her cat, Lily. Eileen enjoys gardening and finding treasures at garage sales.

Be careful — she has her 1st degree black belt in Taekwondo! On her day off, you will find her volunteering her time at a no-kill cat shelter. She is the proud mother of Marissa, who recently graduated from the UofA.
