| Bat Mitzvah ELANA EL QUINT ELANA EL QUINT, daughter of Dr. Richard Quint and Alla Steinberg, granddaughter of Vladimir and Ryva El and Alice Quint and the late Lt. Col. Herbert S. Quint, will celebrate her Bat Mitzvah on January 30th, 10:00 a.m. at the JCC. Elana attended Tucson Hebrew Academy through the fifth grade and now attends Orange Grove Middle School where she is an Honor Roll Student in the seventh grade. She has studied ballet for the past four years at Arizona Academy of Ballet. Elana likes theater, acting, dancing, and singing. Elana’s Bat Mitzvah Project was made up of several projects. She participated at Angel Charity for Children events and helped her mom, Alla, by volunteering at Angel Charity to help gather donations for non-profit agencies whose services benefit children with medical, mental, and personal issues. She is a member of the Or Chadash Youth Choir and participated in the Friday Night LIVE! Shabbat services. Elana is soliciting donations to purchase books, DVDs, and toys for children who are hospitalized with chronic illnesses in Tucson and Israel. |
